Analysis on the Determinants of the Consumer Intention to Use Homenetwork-based Telemedicine and Telehealthmanagement

Abstract
This study analyzes the determinants of consumer intention to use homenetwork-based telemedicine and telehealthmanagement by utilizing bivariate probit model, based on survey data. The estimation results for both services are almost same. The results indicated that age and income of consumers had a positive effect on the intention to use both services. Further, IT familiarization was estimated to increase intention to use both services. This implies that enhancing IT familiarization will increase demands for telemedicine and telehealthmanagement.
